The fastest way to reach us is email: support@rhumblineapps.com. To help us help you, please include your device model, iOS version, and — if it's about a specific bridge or leg — the mile marker and what you expected to see. We typically reply within 2–3 business days.
Open the app, go to the Pro / upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Pro. Restores are handled by Apple.
The chart, the bridges, the mile markers, laying your own route and the bridge-by-bridge timing for it are all free. Pro adds tide-adjusted clearances, tidal current, Coast Guard notices, zones, cables, locks and the narrated Story Layer. It is $44.99 a year with a 3-day free trial, $24.99 for a three-month season, or $129.99 once for life. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select ICW Planner, and change or cancel there. Turning off auto-renew stops future charges; you keep Pro until the period ends. The lifetime purchase is not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel.
Yes. The bridges, their schedules, the mile markers, the tide stations, the sun and your saved trips are all on the phone, so a plan still comes out with no signal. Chart imagery you have already looked at is kept for when you lose it, and live data (tides, currents and Coast Guard notices) is fetched when you have a connection and cached for afterward. Corrections to bridge data reach you without an App Store update.
Schedules and clearances come from official sources but can change. Please email us the bridge name, mile marker, and what you observed — corrections help everyone. Always verify against current NOAA charts and USCG publications before you rely on them.
Only for the optional underway features: the spoken warning as you enter shallow water or a speed, no-wake or manatee zone, and the narration of the places you pass. Because you are usually steering by a chartplotter or another chart app at that moment, you can allow location in the background so those warnings still reach you when ICW Planner is not the app on screen. It is entirely optional — nothing is locked behind it, your position is worked out on the device and is never sent to us, and you can turn it off any time in iOS Settings. See our Privacy Policy.
ICW Planner covers the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway from Norfolk, VA (Mile 0) south to Miami and the upper Florida Keys gateway. It runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later.
